Needless to say the vibrant summer with tanned skin after.
Teaching my dad and my mom to say Thank you after every single trivial thing and to say sorry for things they don’t really feel that sorry for, I am still slightly somehow realizing myself becoming a somewhat newer version or different of myself.

Among these things I do differently than before, one of them is personal space of course. I am kind of Okay, cause I got to learn the other sides of myself better and I found personal space fits me pretty well actually. I am not such an extrovert as I thought I was.

One day, between me and C’s daily conversation, it went like: “It is not a big deal, it was mainly because you were too not open at that time. “

Over 10 years ago, when I took my flight to Canada. Among limited luggage space, my mom silently squeezed in a box of Condom. My dad later explained the usage of it. In a super embarrassed and weird way. But anyways, It was like that all the time. They didn’t allow puppy love, premature love and suddenly when you entered university, they were like can’t wait to have you bring back a boy-friend in the next school break. Then when I was about to head to a western country, the secret box signalled their understanding and response to “open” which is the word they know that best describes the western world.

That day, when the word “open” came out from C, it was the exact word and no other words could replace it. The months before that, he was teaching me how to be open exactly but never used the word. He taught me to say sorry to the person due to my ignorance. He said directly that I was not as good as I thought I was. When I was improving, he encouraged me to take initial steps. I got to know being silent is not the best I can do. I can do better than that. I got to know some of his secrets during the process, how did he gain all these talents and thus instructing me.

Today there are still lots yet to know about being open. While at least one thing I know is: Be vulnerable. Be open.

[/et_pb_text][/et_pb_column][/et_pb_row][/et_pb_section]

[et_pb_section fb_built=”1″ _builder_version=”3.29.3″ use_background_color_gradient=”on” background_color_gradient_start=”rgba(196,19,33,0.5)” background_color_gradient_end=”rgba(224,153,0,0.5)” background_color_gradient_overlays_image=”on” background_image=”http://culturechats.org/writings/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/bg-img.jpg” background_size=”initial” background_repeat=”repeat” custom_padding=”50px||50px||false|false” fb_built=”1″ _i=”0″ _address=”0″][et_pb_row column_structure=”1_3,2_3″ use_custom_gutter=”on” gutter_width=”2″ _builder_version=”3.29.3″ custom_padding=”0px||0px||false|false” _i=”0″ _address=”0.0″][et_pb_column type=”1_3″ _builder_version=”3.29.3″ _i=”0″ _address=”0.0.0″][et_pb_image src=”http://culturechats.org/writings/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/Untitled-4.png” _builder_version=”3.29.3″ _i=”0″ _address=”0.0.0.0″][/et_pb_image][/et_pb_column][et_pb_column type=”2_3″ _builder_version=”3.29.3″ _i=”1″ _address=”0.0.1″][et_pb_text admin_label=”By Author Name” _builder_version=”3.29.3″ _dynamic_attributes=”content” text_font=”PT Sans Narrow|700||on|||||” text_text_color=”#000000″ text_font_size=”28px” text_line_height=”38px” header_3_font=”PT Sans Narrow|700||on|||||” header_3_text_align=”left” header_3_text_color=”#000000″ header_3_line_height=”32px” _i=”0″ _address=”0.0.1.0″]@ET-DC@eyJkeW5hbWljIjp0cnVlLCJjb250ZW50IjoicG9zdF9jYXRlZ29yaWVzIiwic2V0dGluZ3MiOnsiYmVmb3JlIjoiQnkgIiwiYWZ0ZXIiOiIiLCJsaW5rX3RvX3Rlcm1fcGFnZSI6Im9uIiwic2VwYXJhdG9yIjoiIHwgIiwiY2F0ZWdvcnlfdHlwZSI6ImNhdGVnb3J5In19@[/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=”3.29.3″ text_font=”PT Sans […]

"_jetpack_memberships_contains_paid_content":false

12

post-1481","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-osnah
["GET
